Hot meals every Saturday in Addis Ababa for people living on the street.
What this campaign funds
In Addis Ababa our team serves hot food to people living on the street. They gather under a stand of trees near the market, sit on plastic stools, and eat together. For many of them it is the only cooked meal they will have that week.
We serve first and preach second. Everyone who sits down is fed, whether or not they stay for prayer afterwards. Our team knows the regulars by name, and that relationship is often what opens the door to the recovery and reentry support that follows.
Your gift to this campaign is restricted to the feeding programme. It pays for food, transport, cooking and the local team who run the distribution. It does not go into the general fund.
