Recovery and Reentry
Faith-based addiction recovery, prison reentry and local support groups. Finding freedom and a new beginning through faith-based support and guidance.

How to start
There is no form to fill in first and no referral needed. Call, or send a message, and someone will talk to you about what you need.
- Who it is for
- Anyone. Any background, any faith or none.
- How it is paid for
- At present, counselling here is paid for by insurance and the State of Minnesota.
- If you have no insurance
- You are treated on a scholarship basis, paid for out of donations and grants.
- Waiting list
- No formal waiting list, though we may have to say no when funding runs short.
- Where it meets
- At our headquarters in Brooklyn Center
- When it meets
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm
- Response time
- We come back to you straight away. If it is an emergency we will tell you to call 911; otherwise you can be admitted to the programme within 24 hours.
What we offer
As the ministry describes it
Addiction recovery
Our substance use disorder programme, Lifechoices. Faith-based support for people working through addiction, alongside whatever clinical care you are already receiving.
Prison reentry
Help through the first ninety days out, including housing referrals, identification, work readiness and someone in your corner.
Local support groups
Regular gatherings where people in recovery meet, eat and pray together.
Faith-based counselling
Pastoral counselling for you or a family member, available if you want it and never required.
For families
If someone you love is using, you are not powerless and you are not alone. Call us and we will talk you through what support exists, for them and for you.
For referral partners
Probation officers, hospitals, shelters and churches can refer directly. Tell us who you are and what the person needs.
This is a faith-based programme. Prayer and scripture are part of what we offer, and never a condition of receiving help.
Other ministries
